And 5.1 Audio music practice enough to sell? Or is there a way this can be?

The hype of the 5.1 surround sound and greater volume seems more active than ever … except for sale.

Back in the early days of Dolby Digital and DTS, I got to listen to music in a multi-channel format. I still have.

The fact is that I am not defending the "Dolby Digital" or "DTS" 5.1 or 6.1 or whatever approach makes no sense to me, speaking in business terms because of forces provides convenience while listening to him. RememberTo play the music room, leave and listen from the kitchen.

Stereo still rules

Speaking of 5-channel surroundThe problem with Windows Media Encoder Surround (and similar drugs) is to encode all channels, their size is about, say, for the sake of argument, more than a simple stereo Would Be (ProLogic built into the stereo) – not to be good for bandwidth (especially in high-quality, high bitrate versions).

On the other hand, if you have a file encoded stereo Prologic II, the sheer size of the dimension normal stereo, then a few times less than what you would expect from a compressiontricks with all the channels are there. Good for bandwidth, the better for high bitrate encoding with no concern for size and you can listen to an iPod or at home with your pride and joy in the full 5.1 home cinema system, download a simple little genius simple stereo file.

My voice

So you can imagine now has my vote also for normal stereo ProLogic encoded informationand this is probably my future development, I do not like with normal stereo – which option would be zero, the original voice, but I would add value and multi-channel is not only that.

On the other hand, (I respect and defend the 24bit/96kHz HD channel) should be 5.1 on the heart, designed to be the largest of the property, only to be bundled with the standard material for true understanding – I do not I am a believer uncompressed multichannel high definition download, which IAL, linear, or at most 75% of them (WBA Q75 off, similar to MD-disc quality).

Future

I think the future will make no effort to provide many hours of sweat some insist on going through a good mix 5.1 (very good indeed common). The fact is that DSP (Digital Signal Processing) is a large amount of processing power that has an audio signal and do whatever they want with it.

So a crappy mono feed, you can endwith a glorious 12.2 artificial surround sound, but a realistic environment, and pass through in real time, as with most games today. So my motto is to focus on music, balance, production, emotion, and optional stereo with distribution to a well mixed 5.1 (Actually it is the opposite, but who cares) for marketing purposes and personal enjoyment, All Would including this reasoning service is sufficient.
