CD Interface Installation

CD interfaces are used for factory and the radio to communicate with an aftermarket CD changer. Set the factory installed radio interface determines whether the connection to the back of the radio or factory-installed CD lead (where available).

Not all pre-installed CD lead in accordance with the interfaces in this case just ignore pre-install guide and run the place as if there was. Description is in mostonline stores will detail whether your car will be a CD of lead was pre-installed. If you do not have a pre-installed CD lead interface connected to the back of the radio and driving CD that came with all the CD changer will join the other side of the interface and run your installation CD instead.

Important: When installing interfaces to ensure that the keys are completely removed from the ignition.

Interface – Extra wire connections

A very limited number of interfaces, require some extra connections. But producers still Interface redesign the interfaces of all connections to ensure that they are "Plug and Play" (only without additional pressure port connections). They realize that these components are becoming increasingly popular with "DIY'ers" and are therefore making this change.

The maximum number of extras that you can have two cables and connect a 12 volt ground. The wires are on the 12 volt motor and standingalive. Can be mounted on the back of your choice.

You can also create a black wire to ground into a nearby screw that makes contact with the metal body of the vehicle or with a screw on the radio or the confirmation that the mountains are changing lives-CD is protected.

Run the command CD

* Turn off the CD leads to a radio and CD changer and check the compatibility and function before using the cable CD.

Many people believe that it is more difficult than it reallyis. Your best option is to run the CD lead down the passenger side of the car and simply push it under the plastic trim that runs from the front to the rear of the car. With some vehicles you may have to remove the trim to hide it there or under the carpet. Avoid any screw locations that could pierce the CD lead when screwing them back in and avoid any tight areas that could pinch the lead such as the rear seat when it is adjusted. Hide any excess CD lead under the rear seat or tie up behind glove compartment. When the head is very strong, will be damaged in the back seat.

Mount the CD changer
* Ensure proper operation and compatibility before installing the change.

The most popular places to mount the CD changer in the trunk or under the front passenger seat. Many glove boxes are large enough to accommodate a CD changer, especially the smaller 6-drive models, MiniDisc or MP3 changer. Compare the measurements CD changerwith that of what is available in your glove box.

CD changers can be mounted at any angle from 90 degrees (vertical) to 180 degrees (horizontal) as there are angle screws on either side of the unit that can be adjusted with a screwdriver according to the angle you require. Selection of the correct angle prevents the discs from skipping.

Suspending the CD changer from the underside of the rear deck (on saloon models only) inside the boot is a popular way to go because it keeps it hidden and not take all the space usable. But make sure that the CD changer magazine inserted and ejected smoothly.

Easy to install with Velcro

We recommend using only a confirmation of CD-changer Velcro horizontal (plan) as a large area for the two assembly areas to connect to any project together. Note that in reality the producers do not recommend the use of Velcro, but in our experience we have found that agreat way to CD changers to quickly and efficiently store, especially for difficult places like glove boxes under the seats and flat surfaces where drilling would be difficult. Audi A3 and BMW 3 series is an example (depending on boat design).

Stick strips of Velcro to the CD changer and then the first change to the appropriate location for mounting. What can you lose? When the chips are done to save (be the first time in our experience) onlybrackets and screws as a backup plan.

Look before you turn

No matter where you mount the CD changer, so be sure not to live and remove the vines grow in your tank and brake lines, etc. This can be avoided by simply drilling investigation.

FM Modulator CD Changer

FM modulator installation requires a permanent residence permit, an inflammation of life and a ground / earth. The air from the existing radio FM modulatorunit and the aerial connection from the unit connects to the radio. You run the CD lead from the unit that is hidden behind the dash, glove box or kick panels and then mount the CD changer in your desired location.

Next, mount the control display using adhesive velcro to a surface that you can see to select CD tracks, etc. To operate CD’s you then play a CD and tune it into a radio determined frequency and store this frequency/channel into a radio preset button on your radio fascia. CD’s always prefer to play store.
